At MiG (Moving is Good), we believe that fitness is personal. We are committed to protecting your privacy by collecting the minimum amount of data necessary to provide a great community experience.

        Our Privacy Promise: We do not track your real-time location, we do not sell your data to third parties, and we do not use invasive advertising trackers.
    

1. Information We Collect

To provide the MiG experience, we collect the following information:

Account Data: Display name, email address, and profile photo (only if updated by you via your photo gallery).
Activity Data: Information you choose to log, such as sports played (Tennis, Pickleball, etc.) and event participation.
Zipcode: Zipcode of where you live. This is completely optional and is collected only when a user voluntarily entered on the profile page. It is used only for connecting with businesses in those areas.
Technical Data: Basic device information required for app functionality and crash reporting via Firebase.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your data strictly for:

Creating and maintaining your app user profile.
Facilitating friend requests and community interactions.
Reminding when an event your joined is in progress or about to expire.

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is securely stored using Google Firebase. We use industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest to ensure your personal information remains private.

4. No Location Tracking

Unlike many fitness apps, MiG does not access your device's GPS or track your real-time movements. Any "location" information in the app is based on static event addresses provided by Vendors.

5. Your Rights & Account Deletion

You have full control over your data. You may:

Update your profile information at any time.
Delete your account: You can initiate a full account and data deletion from the profile page withing the App (next to "Account Management"). This will permanently remove your profile, photos, and activity history from our servers.

6. Third-Party Services

We use Firebase (a Google service) for infrastructure. We do not share your personal data with any other third-party marketers or data brokers.
